A folding screen is made to divide and conceal. Vertigem does the opposite. The three panels are not solid surfaces but a weave of Imbuia arcs, and the gaze passes through instead of stopping.

The hinges let the panels turn both ways, and with each movement the design changes. In the tangle of curves the planes blur, balance wavers, and what was a piece of furniture turns into sculpture.
